Looking ro anyone who lived on 2nd ave. from 1930 t0 1950
Looking for anyone who lived on Second Ave in the 1930 to 1950 era, and those who also attended St.Willibrord school during that time........Thank you
Hi Kungfu, Thank you for your speedy reply. I wonder if you have any names that might ring a bell, Do you remember the Brophys who lived above Wellington on Third Ave.
Did you know either of the Barr boys, Ed and Jim. They went to St.Willibroads and they lived on Fourth Ave., between Verdun & Bannantyne. Or did you know Babs Lowe, Barbara Booth who both also went to St. Willibroads. Margo
Did not live on your street but did live at 292 Willibrord opposite the Church. Attended St. W's Grammar & High school until '53 then completed High School at Loyola. Some names you may recognize who were buddies, Don Kervin, Billy Crouch, Herbie King, Larry Austin, Joe Poirier, & many more.
Did you know the Watties Dave & Russel they lived on third between Verdun & Bannantyne Curries Grocery stor on the s/e corner of third & Verdun they also had a store on Manning & Bannantyne next to Proudfoots. Do you Yahoo!?
Hi give me one 1, I knew the Watties they lived a few doors down from my family. We lived at 626 3rd. Curries was a popular spot. Many pints and quarts passed through those doors. Dave Gallager delivered for them for a long time. Dannyb

I lived at 159 Second from 1946 (when I was born) until 1962. when we moved to Manning. Didn't go to St.W's, though--I went to Bannantyne and VHS. Where did you live on 2nd? Wayne Youngward
Hi Margo, You must have lived on 2nd ave between Verdun and Wellington, I lived between Verdun and Bannantyne. Did you have any siblings, My family was very friendly with an Allen family, the mothers name was Molly and there was a girl named Lorraine, are you any relation..............632-0353

I can see this is an old post but I am keen to know if anyone on here knows the Martin family. They lived on 2nd Ave. 1935-1940s number 644. It would have been John (Jack) and his wife and I think his brother Micheal who would have been in his 20s. Any help would be great.

Hello, I am looking for my great grandmother and grandfather who lived on 3rd street in the 40-50s. Their names are William and Jean Maher. William died at the age of 84 in 1953.
