ReplyDeletehahahahahhahah! yes I know summer is on its way,thank goodness I have an A.C. so my freezer doesn't have to work so hard keeping my ""little snow flake babies cold, but but but still aways to go yet the snow IS STILL with us another month to 6 weeks..........

ReplyDeletemmmmmm What do I like about the summer.,,, the tanning...the sun on my face, camping fishing, my daily 4 mile walk not having to bundle up.,riding in cars with the top down..wind blowing throu my hair......beaches,and yes i even use to water ski right down there at the boat arena, yes in the st laurence river lol,lol riding over to the rock'.and to the island,(no clue to it's name)where people had country places and no electricity and everything was taken over my boat,,
ReplyDeleteGinny Thats great keep your mind right there..Now what is so great about snow? That Island with the houses belongs to Hydro Quebec..The rock ahh yes been there done that. Do you remember the place at 5th ave I think it was where you could rent boats. We use to go over to Nuns island .Spend all day floating around in the bullrushes taking the sun, fishing , and swimming.
ReplyDeleteNo can't sayI know of that place on 5th ave,/I had my own boat docked, at the boat place same place lorraine's dad did. mostly just run up down the river.water skiied,swam. fished...I don't remember going over to nun's island, might of ,just not remembering it.
ReplyDeleteDoes Lor's dad still have a boat there. I rollerbalde by there three or fore times a week in the summer and I have always wondered. They have made great changes to the old boat club.

ReplyDeleteI am very sorry to hear that. He was a really nice guy..he scared the crap out of me while I was going with Lorraine. I use to think he was so big , I ran into him the woodland bridge in 1992 and he was much shorter than I remembered. And Lorrains poor mom use to have to keep a eye on me .. Don't stand so close all the time stuff like that.That is really too bad.

ReplyDeleteyes for sure her parents were always very strict,.....I have asked my son to scan. a picture I have of myself and lorraine ..in agrinon(sp) park,,way back in 1968, as soon as he does it,i'll post it in my pic section, but no telling how long that will take,lol,lol,lol
ReplyDeleteI hope that her son likes the place as much as I did there. Nothing but great stuff happened to me while I was on that street. Thoes were wonderful times and I often find myself thinking about them. I know its nutty but I am still feeling the shock about Lorraines Mom and Dad. To me its like it just happened. I would say give her my condolinces but its been so long.

ReplyDeleteNew at this so I am not too sure how to put more than one photo at a time on the info page.The photo of me and Lorraine is in Toronto with my mother. I'll ask her to send it. But this is me after winning a basketball champoinship I think at the Dawsons boys & Girls club. Top of 918 Osborne I think you might be able to see your place from here. I'll post more as soon as I learn how. The next one I'll put up is me and my daughter last Christmas. Oh my how I have changed.:)

ReplyDeleteWindsor, you should post your pictures in the picture section of the site. You are now posting them in your profile info. When you are on the opening page for Verdun Connections, click on "pictures" on the left of the page. You can add your pictures in existing albums or create your own album. You will be guided through the process. Have fun!
