Hi Mom! Thanks for a look at my OLDE High School Teachers, almost forgot their faces, since 1952!!!! I played Basketball with Mort Bain in 51 and 52! (Sr.Champs) I've contacted him recently in Toronto.I always wonder what happened to Miss Jean Snyder. She set me straight and was a great math teacher.Wished I could have been smart enough to go back and THANK her, again.(I moved to Calif.in '64) Victah1

Hi, Glad you enjoyed. I'm not sure what has happened to some of the other teachers at VHS, but I do know that Miss M. Coveyduc died Feb 22/2001 at 85 years old. I also had Miss Snyder both as a home room teacher in 1959-60 and as a math teacher for a couple of years. But I must add, for me the one teacher who influenced me the most in my choice of career, and was a mentor, in a way, was Mr. D.G. Cumming. I still can hear his insistance on the rules, but in an understated way. I had him as a home room teacher in Grade 11, 1961-62. Thank-you for bringing back those memories. Cheers, Linda
