It is taken from a hockey card. Most of the ceremony was for Ken Dryden last night prior to the Hockey game between the Habs and the Senators. Although the hommage was well deserved I can't help but think that it was politically inspired. There was hommage made for the Gump for only a few minutes and had it not been for hommage to Ken, there would have been a more time spent to honor the great Lorne Worlsley. The article says that he originatd from Verdun and resided in Beloeil. The news broke out in the Gazette. He was traded for Jacques Plante, Phil Goyette, Don Marshall and Dave Balon for the Gump, L챕on Rochefort and a player from the minor league. He was with the Canadiens in the 60s when they won 4 Stanley cups in seven years. He died at the Centre Hospitalier Honor챕 Mercier de Saint Hyacinthe. It was not wideley cerculated of his sickness and whereabouts so this came as a toal surprise. Another of the old Forum ghosts is gone. Very sad. I will add him to my list of famous Verdunites.
