BOUCHARD, ...Émile BOUCHARD | Visit Guest Book<br /><br /> BOUCHARD, Émile (Butch)<br />1919 - 2012<br />Passed away peacefully in Brossard on April 14th at the age of 92 years. Born in Montreal on September 4th, 1919, son of Calixte Bouchard and Regina Lachapelle. From 1941 to 1956 he played for the Canadians hockey club and was captain for eight years during which time he won four Stanley cups. He also founded and operated Chez Butch Bouchard restaurant from 1948 to 1980. He is a member of the Hall of Fame hockey, the Quebec sports Pantheon, of the order of the Canada as well as the order of Quebec. He leaves to mourn his wife Marie Claire Macbeth, married since April 26, 1947 as well as his sons Pierre (Lyne Lévesque), Michel (Luc Vandal), Jean et Émile (Josée Daigneault), his daughter Suzanne, his grandchildren Marie-France, Laurie, Sophie, Émile-Maxime, Alexis, Émile, Félix, also nephews and nieces. The family will receive tributes from 10 a.m. at the main entrance of the Church. The family wishes to thank the staff at CHSLD Vigi Brossard and Henriette-Céré in Longueuil for their thoughtful and constant care.
