Catherine St.<br /><br />The Alouettes won the 98th Grey Cup Sunday night, defeating the Sakatchewan Roughriders 21-18 in front of 63,317 fans at Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium.<br /><br />On Wednesday, the Alouettes were invited to City Hall at 9 a.m. to sign the city register before the parade begins at 11:40 a.m. at the corner of Crescent and Ste. Catherine.<br /><br />The parade will move east until the Quartier des spectacles. To conclude the event, the Alouettes' cheerleaders will perform a routine followed by a player presentation with the Grey Cup on an outdoor stage set at the main entrance of the Complexe, positioned at an angle facing the west side of Ste. Montreal has always been a good town for supporting football from early ages on up,& they produced al lot of good players over the years,but as is inevitable we have to make the teams as good as possible which makes us draft from the USofA . Remember the first million dollar player back in the early 70's (maybe late 60's) wasn't it something two shoes ???? or Johnny Rogers ??
