Could This be a Politicians Dog.......You Decide !

DOG FOR SALE

A guy is driving around the back woods of Montana and he sees a sign in front of a broken down shanty-style house: 'Talking Dog For Sale 'He rings the bell and the owner appears and tells him the dog is in the backyard.

The guy goes into the backyard and sees a nice looking Labrador retriever sitting there.

'You talk?' he asks.

'Yep,' the Lab replies.

After the guy recovers from the shock of hearing a dog talk, he says 'So, what's your story?'

The Lab looks up and says, 'Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so... I told the CIA.

In no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping.'

'I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years running...

But the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger so I decided to settle down. I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security, wandering near suspicious characters and listening in.

I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals.'

'I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired.'

The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog.

'Ten dollars,' the guy says.

'Ten dollars? This dog is amazing! Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?'

'Because he's a Bullshitter.  He's never been out of the yard'

.Ps: Thanks for the email....................................lol                                 - Les

Hi Bill I don't know if they are considered poor aeras or not, it was an article from the Montreal Mirror,& I posted it wondering if the figures were accurate as of 2012,since they were quoted as being from2005
If you are getting these postings via email then you can switch your settings & choose to only read the site when you actually visit it, I think this is why we had a large drop off in actual members from the old MSN site (although I still see the people reading the posts) when these are sent directly to someones 'Inbox' then they may be overwhelming at times & load up the inbox mail. I actually just have the site 'bookmarked' in my favourites & visit it that way & then see the 'new postings & comments that way.......
I will try to see what possible updates there are,but Bill if you have deleted the email posts then just look under each category if you like when you open the Verdun connections page, click on 'view all' at the bottom right of each section be it, Blog, Video, Photo, etc etc & then you will see all the different topics & the amount of comments will be available at the bottom left of those windows,...... in anycase here is the link back to the Poverty story. Cheers ! - Les

According to this same article Bill.these are the findings at that time :

Côte-St-Paul, Ville Émard and lower NDG all had scattered areas of poverty in 1996, but no more

Hi Les

I lived near Monk Blvd as a kid but moved to Toronto later on based on job transfer. Whe I go back to visit my mom I walk on Monk and see that it has changed and run down - that is why I was asking to see what has happened with the area.
