Willibrord Park Yesterday and Today

I found the 1938 photo by Conrad Poirier on the BANQ site. While in Verdun today I took a photo of the same corner and both photos are now in my Album no. 50. Quite a change don't you think. I played on that canon in the beginning of the 40s. That cetainly dates me. These photos are now in our archives (SHGV).

The area between Verdun, Bannantyne, Willibrord and 1st avenue includes the Metro station, the war memorial with a grass and walk area, City Hall witha large parking in front and back of the building, skating rink and a toddlers park at the end at Bannantyne. Quite a changeover since 1938.
