Steve wait another month ,the 'Price' is dropping quickly.......hahahahahah
They are a complete embarassment to the league. I hate being a frustrated Habs Fan.

I hear you..must be a story going on in the dressing room..
They can't be that bad...but I heard they have 11 restricted free agents..no one signed yet. I guess we see another new team next year,

Try living in among Leaf Nation over here...really embarassing...
my grand-son's principal has a brother who is an ass't. coach for the Bruins..I hear about it..

Steve 11 rfa's & 10 UFA's ,.........non of which are signed yet, & I seriously hope they don't sign many of them,I see them floating out there, and being caught flat footed, losing pucks in their skates, they need a GPS to locat the whereabouts of the 'net' Very hard to watch this team,..No transition game,.giveways constantly,............Yikes, it's tough to be a Habs Fan these days,.especially when the leafs beat the crap out of them on Saturday Night....
I do suspect there is some big problem in the dressing room,(but what) I don't see Carbo having been the only problem ( if at all) after watching them since the change,...I think Gainey could realistically bring Carbo back in (next season) We'' ll ahve to see,.Thanks for the heads up on the Sale ,I must have missed that in the Gazette, but went backj & read it..... so far it looks like restructuring

I figured maybe Carbo comes back too...

Maybe there's uncertainty about being able to sign players,if the back room financing is in jeopardy,That would certainly make more than a few players a little concerned,as to whether they will even be able to be signed,I'm sure all the agents fro both the RFA's & the UFA's ,.have been talking to Bob,& if he's been told to hold off on commitments for re-signing,then maybe that could be a problem,
Sure is a weird scenario,Forbes apparently placed the Habs 3rd in overall value $$$$$$ 340Million
Hope it all gets turned around.....................

I think you all are missing the boat here.First is the fact that the owner has to come up with 600 million by July to pay for the British soccer team. As for the UFA and RFA there isn't a team in the league today that is signing anyone. No one knows where the cap will be next year and some tems may have a serious problem handling the idiotic long term agreements they have sign with players.

I have no idea what you are talking about - but it's nice to see an old familiar name - and the south shall rise again - maybe?????

I'm with you Sandy...don't know what it's all about but great to hear the guys enjoy a bit of hockey talk. No hockey here in Australia, but Aussie Rules football season is about to start and that's all the guys care about during the season. We're in walking distance of the stadium so Richard is in heaven...Go West Coast Eagles! P.S. We play hockey on XBox...isn't that pathetic!....Diane

the south sshall not rise - ever. Last time

Diane - hockey on XBox is better than no hockey at all, I guess. I use to watch the Habs all the time when we lived in Montreal and still love to watch them when they are winning. I don't know anything about all the politics behind the scenes though - is your football really soccer or is it the football we know over here?

Hockey is very much alive and well in my house .My husband plays 4 four times a week. Monday and Wednesday for the Geritol's and Tuesday and Friday for the over 70's.The 2 group are on the South Shore. He is one of the young ones(70) on the over 70's. There is one guy 82 and they all play to win.
So far only one broken ankle and a lot of myoflex. There was a tournament a few weeks ago in Peterborough Ontario and half of the guys were from Verdun.

Sandy...Aussie rules isn't like soccer or gridiron football. Very fast running game, no equipment, kicking a ball only (shaped like a Canadian football),no throwing, but hand balling is allowed. It was on Montreal TV weekly several years ago because one of Richard's uncles used to watch it. We do miss hockey though, but we get to watch a game of the week on TV...Diane

Forgot to mention my eldest grandson was the only kid in Western Australia running around with a Canadiens sweater! We ordered it over the Internet and now as a 15 year old, he'll only play as a Canadien on XBox!...we brainwashed him at an early age!...Diane
