I don't think there is a Walmart in Verdun but there are two in Lasalle. I've never been in one but after reading this, I think I'll take a look.

I agree with you about the old store names and locations.
Every time we do go into a Wal-Mart store we should also remember that Mr. Sam (as he was known),the original owner help start the decline in US manufacturing by going to China, Korea,Taiwan, Philipines etc., to obtain cheaper and more deadly goods, in order for us to get 'bargains'. Makes me wonder sometimes.
