Multiply 101

I've been poking around here and just noticed that at the top of the page (when you are signed in), there is a thing with an envelope that says "inbox".  So when you click on that, it shows all the recent updates to the site in a kind of threadish format - with the number of replies to each showing below.  It sort of makes it easier to see what's happened since the last time you were on.  Maybe I'll actually figure out what I'm doing if I keep poking around

Underneath here where I'm typing it says "tags" and you can insert one from all the threads from VC (MSN) - I'm not sure what to do about that.

Hi Sandy, your figuring it out, there are some good ideas on here, the only thing I would like to see,is the ability to post a photograph in these comments or replies to these threads,..it seems the only time you can put a picture in a msg, is when you start the thread yourself, you then can also choose fonts etc etc .....which I prefer ,I suppose the only way to have an ongoing thread with pics &* other choices ie: fonts, italics etc etc .would be to type in the exact same title again (which would technically be a new thread) and then people could add things like we could on the old site...but we can't have everything I guess......Good Luck ,glad to see your experimenting ,and it will get easier. Sorry Sandy I missed the last part of your msg,. I know what you mean about the choice of 'tags' I'm not completely certain it's of any use,as the message will be posted anyway, the old way allowed us to select 'General' or Looking For etc etc ,.......but I don't think there needed really, again good luck hf&rv

One feature I would like to see is when I add new photos to my site that a notice appear somewhere obvious for everyone to see.

Hello Guy , I thought that whenever a photo is posted ,that it appears in everyones 'In Box' but that may only be when the photo''s are posted on the main site,...if that is the case , then I agree,a notification that someone has posted a new photo would be a good idea hf&rv

Hi Shirley - my list of user id's and passwords is getting very long - everything from bank accounts, credit cards, you name it. I try to keep them the same as much as possible but sometimes it's impossible. I'm trying this out to see if copy/paste from my e-mail works.

The Financial Bailout as Viewed by Physicians

The Allergists voted to scratch it, and the Dermatologists advised not to make any rash moves.

The Gastroenterologists had sort of a gut feeling about it, but the Neurologists thought the Administration had a lot of nerve, and the Obstetricians felt they were all laboring under a misconception.

The Ophthalmologists considered the idea shortsighted; the Pathologists yelled, 'Over my dead body!' while the Pediatricians said, 'Oh, Grow up!'

The Psychiatrists thought the whole idea was madness, the Radiologists could see right through it, and the Surgeons decided to wash their hands of the whole thing.

The Internists thought it was a bitter pill to swallow, and the Plastic Surgeons said, 'This puts a whole new face on the matter.'

The Podiatrists thought it was a step forward, but the Urologists felt the scheme wouldn't hold water.

The Anesthesiologists thought the whole idea was a gas, and the Cardiologists didn't have the heart to say no.

In the end, the Proctologists left the decision up to some a**holes in Washington.
