Escapes......even for a week

Just had a good visit  for the last week,.as Harrison HotSprings,.........and Chilliwack Lake,......and of course in the same area Cultus Lake,..
Recommende for any of you ,shouls you decide to visit BC,......lot's of neat places here,...........the weather was good ,....and got to eat the Chilliwack Corn as it became available...........Great Stuff,.......
....................but Victoria here has a good supply of Corn on the Cob too,
one from a farm called Silverill,.............and the 'Peaches & Cream' corn should beready very shortly ,..........so if you have a penchant for travelling then,.........Vancouver Island or just BC in general ,should make your list,
....................................except we had a bomb scare on our Ferry System the other day,...what a pain,.delaying everyone for a few hours,......I guess the weirdo world has come to us too...............
like the license plate says,......  'Super Natural ,BC'
ps:..the (BC) stands for Bring Cash.................not getting any cheaper here,
but I suspect that 's like everywhere....................YIKES

Hi Les, You bring back memories..When I lived in Coquitlam I would take my daughter to Harrisons Hot Springs and spend the whole day on the beach with her when she was 9 yrs old ,good memories. Haven't been their for 27 yrs, where does the time go? We live in the Okanagan (Vernon area)  now,and some still say this place is like living in a Resort, but if that's true, this Resort is getting crowded...so many folks from Alberta,Vancouver and Ontario and Quebec have relocated here....so the traffic jams of 3 minutes are now upto 1/2 hour....but so far Vernon hasn't caught up to Kelowna for traffic (yet)............   cookie
