Hello
My name is Tom and I attended Verdun High school in the 1950s.  I am a teacher at Vanier College and I write Hockey books based on the outdoor rinks.  My stories are not  'he shoots he scores' type of book but rather about how hockey can bridge the gap between the generations. The books have been written up in the Gazette and have a foreward from members of the NHL Hockey Hall of Fame.  If you go on Goodle and type in hockey book,  "The Gift of Hockey" my web page will come up.
I don't live in Verdun now but I go down there every two or three weeks to 'walk where I used to run as a boy'
There is going to be a reunion of the 1951 class of Verdun High on April 28th - I think this is the date, however if anyone wants more information they can contact me and I'll give you the e mail of the person looking after it.
Tom

Welcome Tom. You have come to the right place. I am Winston Allison, I lived at 835 3rd Avenue, Verdun. My mother lived there from 1940-1966. I went to Bannantyne School. I left Verdun in 1960 to join the United States Marine Corps. Moved back in 1964, and left to return to the USA in 1972. I am living in Vancouver Washington.
Tell us about yourself, where you lived in Verdun, and anything else you might want to share. Maybe there are some names of people that you might be looking for.
Lots of help on this site. Have fun!!!!
Winston Allison
