Two streets in Verdun

Two streets in Verdun crossing each others.

 

 

Can you identify these 2 streets ?

On the lower picture I noticed   there is a KFC which I remember being on Regina Street in Verdun.  Laurie

Regina,.yes I Remember the KFC there,.........is the other Gertrude or Ethel?

Jm, Did you know that there was a farmer years ago who owned a large section of  land from the River to the canal. The Aqueduct was not there then. His name was Hickson. His sons were named Joseph and Claude. He had three daughters. Evelyn, Ethel and Gertrude. His wife was Regina Dupuis. Interesting?   Ed

My late aunt lived on Regina below Verdun in a nice clean flat on the east side of the street. I will have to take a drive next time I am in Montreal and check it out.

The KFC is on the corner of Gertrude and Regina and the other street in the pic is Ethel.  The church is located between Wellington and Ethel, as shown in the pic. By the way, I lived across the street from where the KFC is located  at 3688 Gertrude and our neighbours were called Hachey.   Sonny Martin
