Looking eastwards from Garland Terminus in Montreal, sometime in the 1950's. The tower on the right is from the fire station on Van Horne just east of Decarie. Above the roof of the streetcar, you can see the roof of St. Joseph's oratory in the distance.     .......Look at the StJoe's rotunda in the background.................... also if you look across the street in the parking lot,...the cars over there aremid to later 50's,.....................so it must have been taken near the end of the Streetcar era,.....(wasn't that 58 or 59 ish??) Where's Our Tramway experts...........they would know.....................

I know I've posted this one a million times ,but it's just an old Montreal photo   Montreal sure had a lot of Movie Theaters ,.................

How's this for a cool old Diner,...................   .............near StSimon,.................  too bad it went out of business,it sure looks more interesting than the 'cookie cutter' boring generic restaurants,that they have now,.........................
