Hello from England

Hi and can I ust say what a great group you have here
Well, obviously I'm not from Verdun, I'm from the south coast of England but I came across your site in my search for my grandfather who went missing in Toronto in the mid 1960's.  He was raised in Verdun by his mother Margaret and stepfather Percival Harrington on 1st avenue.  His name is/was James Daniel Harrington (known as Jimmy) and I am trying to find out everything I can about him and his family as well, hopefully as what happened to him.
It would be great if anybody can help but in the meantime I am enjoying looking around your site and particularly the photographs, it is a great opportunity to find out more about where my grandfather is from.

Hi Jinxxy, Welcome to our site. Maybe helpful if we knew the years he lived in Verdun and his age at the time. Just a thought.
Second Avenue.
