Believe it or not , I installed an elevator in that building , it is actually 5 stories high , still going strong   .   Jimmy

hi Jimmy (Kungfu) ,.I read something about that at one time,.maybe it was a post from you a few years back,.or I saw a story about the building of the place,.Interesting wjen you know someone who worked on what has to be a very recognizable Montreal landmark,............but then again you worked on most of Montreal's tall buildings,.didn't you near freeze working on Plc Victoria (??) was that the one,....................Glad to see you on the board,. ...............saw the email too,.Thanks,..I haven't been checking that address too often lately,,,,,,,just do stuff I guess........................as you say Hang Tough

Hey KungFu   What elevator co did you work for?  My husband Woody was in the trade also my grandfather (who put in the wooden escalators in Eatons and a few of my uncles were also in the trade.   Glo

did you know a  Chuck Canning from the elevator  people..think he was a union rep or somehting like that from the point.

I worked for Otis , then Nagle Elevator co , and yes I knew old Chuck Canning who was the BA of our Union and am still in contact with his son Charlie , who is one great guy , no , I still live around Montreal ( Ile Perrot ) I am a Verduner and Montrealer through and through, my childhood memories of Verdun are only positive , what a way to learn about life, and I still feel we of Verdun heritage are pretty lucky people . hang tough Jimmy
