Our Canada Magazine

This month's issue (Oct/Nov) of "Our Canada" (by Reader's Digest) features some well known landmarks in the Eastern Townships. Beautiful pictures. Check it out if you have a chance. My copy came with a special offer for "Railway Adventures Across Canada" DVD. This might interest some of you Train "buffs".

Hi Maggie,

Thanks for the info. But to others of this group who no longer live within
the Canadian Borders and may also have an interest in this publication, the
answer is Sorry. It says clearly it is only available to Canadian residents.
How sad!! Maybe I should write them a letter and tell them I feel they are
missing the boat on an untapped market. I cannot believe that I am the only
Canadian who lives out of the country for one reason or another who has an
interest in this publication.
Thanks again how for your effort.

Ruth

Hi Again Maggie,
I went back to the site looking for an address or somethong but found a
place for questions, so the question is in the email to see why I cannot
purchase a subscription out of Canada.

We'll see what happens

Railway Adventures Across Canada "special offer" is available only in Canada. I'm not sure if that means people elsewhere can get it at the full price or not at all. None-the-less, I'm sure you all still have "friends" at home. Here is the number to order or get more info in case you can't find the offer. 1-800-823-8979

Hi Ed,
Thanks for the offer. I just might take you up on it if I don't get any
response from their Customer Service Dept. I did send an email and I'll
give them some time to respond. I have made note of your address . Let's see
what developes. Your offer is what makes this group so great. You would know
me if you were to pass me on the street but are on deck to find a way to
resolve a problem. It is so appreciated
Ruth
