Visite Maison Saint Dizier Visit

As previously mentioned, visits to the Maison Saint Dizier on LaSalle Boul. starts tomorrow Sunday as indicated in the enclosed notice. This is a must visit for those who are interested in Verdun history.
Here is the translation:
We are happy to announce the visits to the site of Maison Étienne Nivard de Saint Dizier.
The house constructed in 1710, will soon celebrate it's 300th anniversary.
Archialogical digging will begin soon and restauration will start. After digging is completed, the site will be restaured to it's original state.
The house was classified as an historical monument in 1976.
Our president (SHGV), Denis Harton will be there to welcome you every Sundays, from 11.00am to 1.00pm and he will inform you of the history of the house, it's architecture, the origin of the name, land registry, the Argoulets etc.
Historian Denis Gravel, will be the presenter on wenesday nights, from 18.30 to 20.30 (6.30 to 8.30 pm)
Be present in large numbers for the first visit starting tomorrow, Sunday the 2nd of July 2006 at 11.00am 
The place is on LaSalle Boulevard near Lloyd George Street.

Thanks for the information about Maison Saint Dizier.  When I was a child in the forty's and fifty's, we use to just call it the Old Stone House.  Our parents took us there for Christmas parties.  I lived on Foch Cresent in Crawford Park.  Thanks for the Memories.  Joyce Pedder
