Thanks for the pictures

I think a special thank you is in order for those who have posted photos for all to enjoy. I know the value of photos as I've lost mine and miss them terribly. Both times that everything was lost the fires were started next door by someone smoking in bed. I won't try to list the names because if I miss someone they might be hurt. However, since it's true that one picture is worth a thousand words, these people spoke volumes. Anyone else? Ed

edbro68. I have said the same thing in the past. The time spent on taking pictures and putting them on VC is great, and very much appreciated. And for those that spend their time looking for pictures from different sites to post on here are also truely great. I can't say enough thanks to show just how much I do apprecite that. I will tell you one thing though. I get so nostalic and downright homesick, and seem to be an emotional wreck when I do see ANY of those pictures. To tell you the truth, before VC came along, yes I missed our beloved Verdun, and the people I remembered, BUT it did not so much tear at my heart strings as it does now, especially When the pictures show up. Also when those on here mention their experiences. MY THANKS GOES TO EVERYONE on here, for being such wonderful people. Winston Allison
