I knew the Jenkins brothers casually we never hung out except within
a group.
And I heard about the motorcycle accident -- horrible.

My ex wife's sister Beverly married Brian's brother Bob.

Is anyone familiar with the lawton family?

I remember Bobby Cuthbert from Air Cadet Camp 49/50 His cousin Sydney moved to Vancouver with me in 1968. I bought a 5 ton and loaded his furniture and ours into it and he followed with wife and kids. My wife and teen sons and daughter made up the convoy with my old Studebaker. I stayed two years and believe Syd never returned. Ed

Is Tommy Lawton the brother of John and Eric,Margarite and Shirley?

Ya Franky. That's the family alright. I grew up with Tommy and spent
almost as much time at his home than in mine from the age of 9 till I
joined the Navy. Do you know them? I understand some of the family
moved to Toronto. I wish them the best -- good times fishing the St.
lawrence.

Shirley is in Toronto I believe and Margaret is still living in Lasalle I think. John passed away about eight years ago and Eric a couple of years ago. John's wife Maureen passed away just last week. She was my sister.

Sorry to hear about your sister Franky. I must have met her. I always
believed John was more of a family man than his brothers. Do you have
any nephews or nieces?
My father helped John get a job with the CNR many years ago, and I
can imagine he stayed there until he retired. Tommy the youngest of
the siblings, was the closest to my age. Shirley married my friend
Kenny Harris and moved to Ontario. The last time I saw Margaret she
was married to Lammy and lived on 2nd Avenue with her mother. She had
a daughter. Eric was married to Rita and had a number of children.
I used to fish with the old man even if I had to play hooky from
school. I liked him a lot. I remember the aroma of his pipe and the
wonderful voice of Enrico Caruso on the living room radio.
