Alepin House at the Corner of Richard and LaSalle

Here is a picture of the Alepin house as requested by Carolyn. I took this picture on Saturday morning and unfortunately it was cloudy. Another impressive Verdun House.

Alepin is/was a well known business man in Verdun. Maybe some members can tell us the businesses he owns or owned. Guy

Salut Guy ! Merci pour la photo. In a rapid search in Lovell‘s, I’ve found many members of the Alepin family living at 5859 Lasalle Blvd btwn 1940-50. Many of them related to the Lasalle Golf & Country Club, 8585 Lasalle Blvd, Ville Lasalle. There were many members in the Alepin family living in Verdun, Ville Lasalle, Montr챕al. 5859 Lasalle Blvd, Verdun, is at the intersection of Richard Ave. On the other hand, Penniston house (which was once property of the Alepin) is located at 7525 Lasalle Blvd, Ville Lasalle. I believe that the owner of the house at the corner of RIchard street was owned by Tony Sabia in the 1980's and possible still is.
With regards to the other Alepin house at the corner f Lacharite
in VilleLasalle , in the 1980's it was owned by the Grad family....my spelling may be off ...they owned GRAD Construction.......

There is a member of this site Gord Gibbons that golfs with Bill Butler......and if Gord could ask Bill to confirm with his old poker partner DREW from back in the 1980's as to the status of the property we should be able to verify the correctness of my information.....
