Looking for any former members or Sailors of the OLDE Verdun Sailing Club from the 1950-1960 period. (Located on the West side of La Torche Wharf) Trying to connect with the likes of Dave Hawthorne or George Anderson. George was Jack Anderson's brother. (Jack worked for Bell Tel. back in the 50's and 60's.) The Andersons lived on Manning, built 28 foot sailboats in their huge basement. (One was Jack's "Windigo") They were launched in the summer of 1951 off of La Torche Wharf. (Using a huge crane) Ahh, those were fun daze on the river. Sez Victah
