Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. My wife lived in the 600 block just above Verdun ave in the 40 & 50's, and we both lived there in 60's. Gordo
My grandparents lived around your address where you between Verdun ave and Wellington.
Small correction it was Osborne Avenue. Had an aunt, uncle and grandparents live there between Verdun and Lasalle . Visited often. Then, I lived with them for a short period in 1946, and made quite a few friends in that area.
my grandparents live at 537 osborne then moved to 287 in the early 70s.
Your name(Murphy) just rang a bell. Can't find a first name yet! Around that time ther was a Jimmy Gallagher, Bobby Collete(there was another brother (?) and sister Barbara, a family of McWhinneys(?). Girls ? Babs and a sister Gwen? Heather?
