i downloaded this program and found it better than the other spyware programs out there. i ran adware se, then spybot and this program picked up 250 spyware and one trojan, i ran it last. it will also config your pc if spyware has altered any thing in windows. it also sends a report back to the data base. if you are loading a program with spyware, it will warn you and ask if you want to pemit. i guess the people at microsoft did something useful. maybe now we can serf the web without adware , spyware or trojans soon. patsy

An excellent anti-spyware program is called AdAware. There is a free download, or for the full version, a subscription fee. I prefer this one, as it continually monitors and stops tracking cookies from invading a computer. A terrific anti-virus software is McAfee's VirusScan, also a subscription service, but well worth the investment. Once hackers get any info from your computer or infest same with a virus, expect big problems. Hope this helps a bit. Glen

hi brady, i got this program from www.downloads.com just type in the name microsoft antispyware in the box and it will take you to the download page. i also have adware se, and spybot but this program will tell you if you are serfing if someone is trying to access your pc. it will also remove trojans. i did a scan with both spybot and adware and this program picked up spyware and a trojan that the other 2 didn't. it will also reset your pc automatically if some malware has changed the setting. patsy ginn ernst

Try Zone Alarm also,it will tell you exactly when someone's hacking you.And also will ask you if you want to let something wants to access the internet.
