Members list

Hi everyone and thanks for joining the new Verdun Connections. I have set up a members list so we can all see who else visits here. Maybe we can find some old friends. When filling in your information in the list (at the left) make sure to enter the name of a childhood friend from Verdun that you would like to find. These entries can be changed at any time. Hope we will all get to know each other a bit online.

If your identity is not obvious from your sign in name, please fill in your information in the members info on the left. Let's get some long lost friends re-connected! There is also a new message board called "looking for". Please start a new discussion there for each name you are searching for.

Members, please click on your signature names and see what info you are revealing to the group members! We are now over 400 members! There are a number of members though that have joined revealing no clues about who they are and have not contributed any messages. It is best if your name is in your member profile, that way when people read your messages and you seem familiar to them, they can click on your sign-in name and see who you are. Even better when you sign your name to your messages. If neither of these options are comfortable for you, you should add your name to the Member Infor list and tell us who you are. Only members can view the lists. At times I (as manager) go through the list of members deleting those that have joined with questionable IDs and not contributed any messages. It's perfectly alright to be a member of this group and not contribute to the message boards, we just want to have some idea who is among our "family". I hope that I don't delete any "valid" members. If I do, please rejoin. Only "porno nics" are banned.

Maggie. Thanks for that message on member ID'S. Manny times I have looked up the name of someone and it either shows they are not a member any longer, or no ID at all. It is nice to see who we might be responding to, or who has written a message. Winston Allison

I'm a new member and am still navigating the site. I grew up in Verdun in the 50's and 60's. Went to Verdun Catholic High and lived on Verdun Avenue between 1st and 2nd Avenue. Places to hang out were Dawson's, The Pav and The Nat (along with a million other kids). My maiden name was Evans.

I may be as confused as you are. These messages are from the old Verdun Connections (dated May 03). We are going through some growing pains here. As far as I can tell, I can't make any lists here for people to share their info on. We have to rely on the information that you provide to Multiply when you join.

Hi Gail,
Don't think you know me but I knew your sister Judy.
Also I'm pretty sure your family knew the Golding family? I married Dave Golding .We live in Claremont ,Ontario.(still miss Montreal)
Anyway just wanted to connect.
If you hear from Judy pls say hi.She might want to know I still hear from Debbie Humphries and Kym Fenlon, and a few others.
